I am a bilingual Spanish-English educator with more than 23 years of experience teaching in schools, including more than eight years with young children in early childhood care facilities (ages 2 to 6). I have also worked as a coach, instructor and as a camps director.

Having lived, worked and travelled extensively in different countries for several years, I bring a multicultural perspective and a solid understanding of bilingual linguistic development. I am also learning French.

I am passionate about accompanying children and creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment where they feel happy, confident and free to explore, learn and thrive. I am convinced that it is through play, creativity, movement and rewarding daily experiences that children learn best.

Holder of a Master’s degree in Education (MEd) and qualifications in the fields of early childhood education, primary and secondary education, I have extensive experience in supporting children of different ages (2 to 18), abilities and backgrounds.

Certified first aid and wilderness first responder, and with specialism in English, Music, Physical Education, Therapeutic Pedagogy, as well as hearing and speech disorders, which have been coordinator roles in various settings in education.
When I work with children, I love using games, storytelling, arts and crafts, manual activities, music, outdoor adventures and physical activities to entertain them while encouraging their curiosity, autonomy and development. I also have experience in teaching English phonetics according to the Jolly Phonics method, which makes language learning enjoyable and captivating.

I would describe myself as creative, energetic, caring, responsible, fun, resourceful and enthusiastic. My goal as a nanny is not only to provide excellent quality care, but also to build a relationship of trust with children and their families, creating moments of joy on a daily basis and helping children become happy, self-confident and self-sufficient people.
