Harriet
Brief info
Hi my name is Harriet! I am from Brisbane, Australia, have 4 brothers and have just graduated University with a Bachelor of Nursing! I am a caring and reliable person who loves spending time with friends and family, going travelling, running and especially snow skiing!!!
I have always enjoyed spending time with children and love getting involved in activities that keep them entertained, active and happy! Growing up in a large family I have been around children my whole life which has helped me become patient, re-sponsible and adaptable.
My nursing studies and previous nannying jobs have given me valuable skills in communication, care and safety, whilst also empathy, compassion and kindness. I’m responsible, hardworking and easy-going, and I aim to create a fun, safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and enjoy themselves.
"Harriet is curious and always willing to help, and she loves children. She shows great initiative and empathy, and she is unfailingly polite and positive. She brings a wonderful energy and a can-do attitude to everything she does, and she is always busy, looking for the next thing she can help with. I can recommend her with complete confidence to work with children and families, and I have no doubt they will love her".
"Harriet is a kind and very capable young woman who I trust totally with our children and have done so since they were babies. Harriet has four brothers (!!), two older and two younger so has grown up in a household that required her to be very flexible indeed. Her time at boarding school, working on a large ranch/station up north, completing her nursing degree taught her many life skills - particularly to be very organised, highly independent, to be decisive and resourceful. Harriet is always the first to offer help in a social situation, maintains an extremely high level of order with her personal space and has exceptional manners. She is funny, confident and is a loving and caring human.
Our kids (now 13 and 14) adore Harriet as I do.".
