I have five years of hands-on experience supporting and caring for children in diverse learning environments such as daycare/pre-school, nanny, after school care and tutoring.

My Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Victoria has given me a strong foundation of childhood development, which I’ve thoughtfully applied daily in my care. My certifications in Early Childhood Education Assistant and Childcare First Aid & CPR, further reflect my dedication to both the wellbeing and professionalism of this field of work.

I’ve supported children ages 18 months to 10 years, with varying needs, including children with high support requirements, and ensured to always bring warmth, patience, and equal care to everyone at any age. With my experience in childcare, I’ve followed a daily schedule preparing snacks, lunch time, organized structured activities and play, while always maintaining each child's safety and emotional needs.

I enjoy using play-based and nature-inspired learning strategies as well as imaginative play to encourage each unique child to be themselves. I also enjoy facilitating art exercises and projects to encourage creativity and motor skills. I adore working with children and feel inspired to nurture curiosity and confidence in young learners. Most importantly, I enjoy creating a fun and memorable atmosphere!

In my personal time, I love being outdoors, whether that’s hiking a mountain or exploring a new area. Previously, I lived in Whistler, Canada, where I met people from all around the world and got to pursue my passions. I also speak English and French, which has allowed me the opportunity to study and live in France multiple times.
