My name is Sarah, I am 34 years old, and I had my first experience with babysitting when I was 14, looking after my neighbors’ baby, who was only a few months old at the time. At 16, I had my first summer job at a summer camp for children with disabilities. During the following summers, I continued working at different summer camps and always really enjoyed spending time with the children.

After graduating from high school at the age of 18, I initially studied Chemistry, but I quickly realised that this was not the right path for me. I then started working at Mosaik GmbH, a non-profit organisation supporting people with disabilities. I worked in the office and also had the opportunity to attend and support lectures given by educators, psychologists and psychotherapists. This allowed me to gain valuable knowledge and experience in working with people.
In 2024, I finally decided to start a degree in Social Pedagogy, which would allow me to do what I enjoy most: working with children and young people. During my studies, I gained a lot of practical experience through various internships and learned a great deal about working with children and young people.

In 2026, I graduated with distinction from the College for Social Pedagogy and have been a qualified social pedagogue ever since.

In my free time, I love hiking, travelling, discovering beautiful places, going on via ferrata routes and swimming.

When working with children, it is especially important to me to treat them with respect and on an equal level, while taking their feelings, needs and boundaries seriously. I believe it is important to approach each child individually. I really enjoy spending time with children of all ages and always try to make our time together enjoyable and varied, whether we are playing, doing crafts, taking part in a sport activity or going on trips.

I would describe myself as a calm, patient and empathetic person. Thanks to my many years of experience with children and young people, as well as my education in Social Pedagogy, I feel very comfortable caring for children of all ages. I would therefore be very happy to look after your child or baby and spend a wonderful and enjoyable time together.
