Ali

My name is Ali, I am 23 years old, and have over five years of childcare experience in a variety of roles. My previous childcare roles include being a ski resort nanny/kids club staff, a preschool teacher, an outdoor activity instructor, a nursery nurse, a private live-in nanny in America, and a camp counsellor. I have experience with all ages, from three weeks old, to teenagers, and I also have experience working with a range of disabilities.
During the winter 2021/22 I completed a ski season in Morzine in the French Alps, working as a nanny in a busy chalet hotel. I was responsible for ski school pick ups every day, as well as looking after babies in the crèche, then taking the children on daily outings in the snow such as sledging, ice skating, and for crepes. I also cooked lunch for the children every day.
I am confident with bottle feeding, nappy changing, nap routines, preparing meals, and bath times. I have plentiful experience looking after babies from a variety of jobs, including being a full time live-in nanny to twin babies, a three year old, and five year old. Responsible, friendly, and approachable. I am able to understand the varying needs of children, and provide a fun and safe environment for them.
I have a degree in Outdoor Leadership and Management and have spent a full year working at a nursery and preschool. For the past five summers, I have worked at a summer camp in America, as a camp counsellor and outdoor instructor. I have lead groups of up to 35 children in activities, being responsible for their safety, while delivering a fun and engaging session.
