Gina

Brief info

I am a 26-year-old with over seven years of experience caring for children, ranging from 6 months old to teenagers, in roles as a nanny, babysitter, aunt, and medical doctor.

Growing up in a large, lively family, I have had the joy of helping raise my young nieces and nephews, as well as working as a nanny for pre-school children throughout my own school and university years. Alongside this, my two years as a junior doctor have provided me with valuable paediatric experience across various healthcare specialities.

In addition to my childcare experience, I am certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support for all ages, equipping me with the knowledge to ensure children’s safety and to recognize and respond to any health concerns.

I genuinely love spending time with children and sharing in their energy and enthusiasm. Through my hobbies of painting, crafts, cooking, and dancing, I engage children in creative activities within a fun, supportive, and safe environment. I am calm, friendly, and patient, and can be relied upon to remain professional and flexible to meet the individual needs of all children.

As a keen sportswoman with a love for skiing, hiking, biking, and running, I am excited to combine my passion for the outdoors with the opportunity to travel and explore beyond New Zealand during my time in the Alps.

I look forward to working with you and your children through Merinannies during the upcoming winter holidays!

“I couldn’t recommend Gina more highly! She’s sensible, trustworthy, and so helpful and flexible to work around the children’s schedules."

“Gina has been involved since the birth of my daughter and has babysat for us on many occasions during both the day and nights, and over a weekend period. She is fun, bubbly and engaging and my children adore her. She is very responsible, and I can always trust her with my kids and know they will be safe with her. I highly recommend Gina for any role with children of all ages, and she is an absolute pleasure to have around as adult company too."
