About Ischgl

Ischgl, nestled in the Paznaun region, offers families a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Originally a farming village, it now boasts excellent road connections to the Inn valley and Innsbruck airport. The resort is easily accessible with escalators and ski buses. Ischgl connects to Switzerland’s Samnaun via three large lifts, granting access to extensive high-altitude slopes. Recent investments have catapulted Ischgl into a premier Austrian ski destination. Intermediates can explore six valleys, including skiing into Switzerland, while experts can challenge themselves on black runs and off-piste terrain. Snowboarders can enjoy a world-class terrain park. The traditional Tyrolean village offers accommodations for all budgets, and its vibrant après-ski scene is renowned worldwide, featuring top artists during season-opening and closing parties. Getting There

To reach Ischgl, you can fly into Innsbruck Airport, located just 100km away, with an estimated journey time of about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Alternatively, Zurich Airport offers more flight options but nearly doubles the travel time. Via train you can go to Landeck-Zams, the nearest station to the resort, followed by the 4240 bus to Paznaun. Direct bus transfers from Innsbruck Airport to the resort are also available through several companies.
