Since 2003 Merinannies has been delivering an outstanding, professional nanny service in the finest family ski resorts in the French and Austrian Alps.

Merinannies was founded by Katia Koumantou who spent most of her years in the UK working in Education as an Early Years Teacher, Musician, and Teacher Trainer. Katia loves the mountains and skiing was her passion where she spent every possible break exploring the best resorts for her family.

“I have had the luxury to travel in most European ski resorts with my children over the years, and I am blessed to have experienced the qualities and amenities they offer to excite every member of the family.”

In 2003 Katia placed two nannies in Meribel where she set her heart. The second year she doubled the team, and kept expanding with more nannies in the whole of the Three Valleys at start, where it became like home. After a lot of testing trips, she set up services in the Mont Blanc area and followed by the Austrian ski resorts of the Arlberg area, the cradle of Alpine skiing.

In 2020, Christina joined as a partner with first hand experiences in Recruitment and Operations. Christina holds a degree in Psychology, and her experience was gained from various managerial positions in London. Christina’s shared vision and passion for exceptional services, and organisational skills has led to the expansion of Merinannies to new destinations and a growing team.
