Grace

Brief info

My name is Grace. I am 26 years old and originally from Australia. I am adventure-ready, safety-focused, and passionate about nurturing curiosity and confidence in young minds.

I provide engaging, reliable, and enjoyable childcare so that children can embark on new adventures, enjoy their holidays, and create lasting memories within the care of a qualified and experienced nanny.

Over the past ten years, I have had the pleasure of babysitting and working with children of all ages, from two to twelve years old. I hold a certificate in First Aid, including practical experience in managing anaphylaxis and asthma care. I also hold the Australian Surf Life Saving Bronze Medallion and the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, both of which reflect my commitment to safety, responsibility, and adventure leadership.

I am physically active and a capable swimmer, hiker, skier, snowboarder, and driver. I confidently supervise children in a variety of outdoor activities, always ensuring their safety while encouraging a natural curiosity about the alpine environment. I understand the joy and confidence that outdoor exploration brings—not only supporting children’s physical development but also enhancing their creativity and social connection.

I am solution-oriented and dedicated to building trusted relationships with both children and their families. Indoors, I enjoy designing creative and educational play experiences—from structured games, problem-solving activities, and cooking, to more dynamic pursuits such as reading, dancing, and crafts.
My experience, qualifications, and commitment to fostering meaningful family relationships allow me to focus on thoughtful and informed childcare—encouraging curiosity, developing confidence, and helping children feel connected to the world around them.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and, in Australia, I work for the National Science Agency, helping communities and schools understand climate science and weather patterns—areas that have always been of great personal interest to me.

My sisters and I have spent our lives outdoors—surfing, skiing, hiking, and camping since childhood—so being in the Alps brings me a special sense of energy, comfort, and fascination. I am excited to share that same enthusiasm and love for nature with your children.

“Grace worked as my nanny in Australia, caring for my three children, who were aged four, four, and six at the time, for twelve months. From the very beginning, Grace proved to be extremely reliable, professional, and dedicated, with an excellent work ethic. She approached every task with a positive attitude and a level of maturity well beyond her years. My children absolutely loved having her care for them. Grace was always flexible to our family’s needs, and nothing was ever too difficult or inconvenient for her. She demonstrated great responsibility in maintaining routines and was consistently punctual and organised. Beyond her professionalism, Grace is a genuinely lovely and positive person to be around. She is well-travelled, thoughtful, and maintained a warm, respectful relationship with both our children and ourselves. I would have no hesitation in recommending Grace for future positions. She would undoubtedly be an asset to any family or organisation she works with.”

“Grace is someone you would be blessed to have on board. I am a school teacher who has been in upper management for some time. I withhold all the relevant school clearances such as Australian RAN training (Reporting Abuse and Neglect) as well as Teachers Registration and Police Checks. I would 100% support Grace’s work with children on safety, responsibility and trust level. Aside from this, Grace worked with my family for a period of 2 years while myself and my husband grew in our own careers. She actively worked with my son Ethan who was 10 at the time and Ollie was 7. Ethan, although high functioning, has ADHD, ASD and Sensory Processing Disorder. Grace would work with him when he was at his most tired and exhausted time after school. She showed a great deal of patience, understanding and guidance for Ethan. Both children bonded very quickly and we were very sad to see her go. Grace was always a happy and positive role model by promoting respect, kindness, and responsibility. At times my children would listen to Grace over myself, which showed the kind of bond they had. Grace honestly did more in my home than even I could manage, and I was eternally grateful to have her become part of our family. Any family would be blessed to take Grace on. She is not only intelligent and able to pivot at a moment's notice, but she is also fun, energetic and passionate about everything she puts her mind to. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Grace.”
