Grace

Brief info

I am Grace, a 25-year-old childcare professional from New Zealand. My journey in childcare began as a camp counsellor in the United States, where I provided crucial support to children with diverse disabilities. This experience ignited my passion for working with children, leading me to become a teaching assistant at a school for children with disabilities. I have extensive experience in creating safe, nurturing, and educational environments for children. From engaging in imaginative play and facilitating learning activities to ensuring their daily routines run smoothly, I understand the unique needs of each child and adapt my care to suit individual concerns and interests.
My commitment to childcare took a unique turn when I had the opportunity to be a personal assistant and carer to a high net worth individual. In this role, I fostered a positive and trusting relationship with the individual, demonstrating empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills. Thanks to my diverse background in caregiving, I am well prepared for any situation.
Beyond my childcare experience, I am an enthusiastic skier who has worked in ski seasons in both Canada and New Zealand. Now, I am thrilled to bring my skills, passion, and dedication to Merinannies team in Austria for the upcoming season. My aim is to continue making a positive impact by delivering top-notch childcare services.

“Grace was looking after my two girls while I worked. My youngest is autistic and very minimally speaking and was 6 at the time. The other was 8 and neurotypical. They looked forward to the days they had with Grace over school holidays and were always happy and tired at the end of the day. My eldest told us all the fun things they got up to and all the things they chatted about”.

“Grace will be a great asset to your team and have no hesitation in recommending her. Grace was extremely good with the principal's great grandchildren.”
