My name is Katarzyna, and I am a 32-year-old Early Years Educator originally from Poland. My journey in childcare began after completing my A-Levels. In 2011, I moved to London as an Au Pair to improve my English and gain practical experience in childcare. What started as a temporary stay turned into 13 wonderful years in London, where I worked as a Nanny and Preschool Teacher in Notting Hill. During this time, I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Childcare and worked with children from newborns to 10-years-old.

Throughout my career, I have been responsible for providing engaging, creative activities, organizing playdates, assisting with homework, preparing nutritious meals, and ensuring children remain active and stimulated. From crafting with recycled materials to playing educational games and setting up outdoor obstacle courses, I always promote learning through play.

I find working with children incredibly rewarding, as I love witnessing their curiosity, creativity, and growth. It’s a joy to see them develop into confident individuals under my care. I am patient, calm under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in all situations. As an active, outdoorsy person, I enjoy exploring nature, sledging, or swimming with children. In my spare time, I love learning new languages—currently, I speak Polish and English fluently and am learning German. I also enjoy bouldering, climbing, and ice skating, a skill I developed while playing ice hockey as a teenager.

In addition to my Early Years qualifications, I am trained in Health and Safety, Food Safety, First Aid, and Safeguarding.
