My name is Martina, and I am 27 years old, a lifelong traveller and adventurer with several years of professional experience in tourism and hospitality, and childcare.
I speak fluent English and native Spanish, as well as intermediate Portuguese and basic French.
I have extensive childcare experience with children of various ages. I cared for Mateo, aged five months, in Madrid for one month; Lucio, aged one year, on a daily basis for six months; Nick and Philippa, aged five and seven, in Buenos Aires for one month; and Jacinta, whom I have cared for several years, from the age of one to eight during summers and occasional days throughout the years.
I genuinely enjoy spending time with children—their creativity, spontaneity, and curiosity are a constant source of inspiration for me. I am patient, responsible, and affectionate, and I connect naturally with children, always aiming to make our time together enjoyable and meaningful. I love dancing, singing, spending time outdoors, cooking, and engaging in creative activities or reading together. My goal is to create a safe, joyful environment where children feel free to express themselves and learn through play.
One of my most memorable experiences was joining baby swimming lessons with Jacinta, an activity I found truly special. I would be delighted to accompany your children in similar experiences, helping them explore, learn, and grow in a positive and nurturing way.
“I felt a big relief that I found Martina. She was always kind, professional and helpful with our son. I totally trust her. She always had energy to work and was motivated. She does not get nervous when my baby was crying for example. She always tried to calm him (being herself calm which is important) and tried different ways. Mateo my son always liked to be with her. She was always on time work and did the things on the time that I asked her (for example put Mateo to sleep). She is wonderful, I would totally recommend her to work with children and babies. To be honest I would love that she still lives in my city. She always had good energy and you could tell she was keen to work and that she likes babies.”
“Martina looked after my son Lucio for six months. I trusted her when he was just one year old because I already knew her and knew how responsible she is. During that time, she took care of him for around four hours in the afternoons (sometimes more, sometimes less), depending on our work schedules. She’s amazing! Very proactive, responsible, and always notices what needs to be done without being told. She even made helpful suggestions to us. Always punctual, reliable, and meets all the qualities you mentioned, flexible, resourceful, polite, and professional. She adapted easily to different situations: looking after him at home, taking him out for walks, helping him sleep, and anything else that came up. What they shared the most was music, she sang to him a lot (he loves it) and they also danced together a lot when he learned to stand up. I recommend her 100%. She’s trustworthy and someone who truly delivers.”
